Movie Tickets Refund Policy
Magura Cultural Center strives to offer an enjoyable and accessible movie screening experience. This refund policy applies to all movie tickets purchased for screenings hosted by our not-for-profit organization and facilitated by Magura Cinema.
We aim to provide clarity on when refunds are available, ensuring fairness to all attendees while supporting our community-driven mission.
1. Refund Eligibility
Refunds will be issued under the following circumstances:
Without Reason: If your showtime has not passed, you can request a refund by providing the email address or phone number associated with your ticket purchase, but no less than 48 hours before the start of the screening.
Event Cancellation: If the event is canceled by Magura Cinema for any reason, a full refund will be provided to ticket holders.
Rescheduled Event: If the event is rescheduled and the new time or date is not suitable for the ticket holder, a full refund will be offered.
Technical Issues: In the event of significant technical problems that prevent the screening, a full refund will be offered.
2. Non-Refundable Conditions
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
General: Tickets are non-refundable after the screening has taken place.
Personal Inability to Attend: If the ticket holder is unable to attend for personal reasons (e.g., medical issues, scheduling conflicts, illness), no refund will be issued.
Missed Screenings: If the ticket holder does not attend the event and does not contact Magura Cinema team prior to the screening, no refund will be issued.
Special Events & Donations: Tickets for special fundraising events, donation-based screenings, or tickets purchased as a donation to Magura Cultural Center are non-refundable. These purchases are treated as charitable contributions.
Gift Tickets: Gift tickets are non-refundable.
3. How to Request a Refund
Please submit your request via email to maguracinema@gmail.com, call us at 1.224.800.1538 or through the contact page on our website. Include the following information:
• Full name
• Email address or phone number associated with the ticket purchase
• Ticket purchase confirmation number
• Event details (name, date, location)
• Reason for refund request
4. Processing Refunds
Once your refund request is approved, we will process the refund within 7-14 business days.
Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. If a cash or check payment was made, an alternate refund method will be arranged.
5.Ticket Transfers and Credits
For ticket holders who are unable to attend a scheduled/rescheduled event, we offer the option of transferring the ticket to another individual or receiving a credit toward a future event. This credit can be used for any upcoming screenings organized by Magura Cinema.
6. Refunds Due to Chargebacks
We reserve the right to investigate chargebacks in cases where a refund request was not properly made or where the customer failed to attend the event. If a chargeback is found to be unjustified, the customer may be held responsible for any associated fees.
